Android Lollipop, the latest Android Flavor is the sweetest among the other Android Flavors, The material design concept has made it more popular among Android users, The unlocked API’s make it sweeter for Android Developers, If you are an Android Geek, you surely would be aware of the Xposed Framework.
Because of the changes in run time to ART from Dalvik and many other internal changes it became for the Xposed Framework developers to bring the Xposed Framework in the Android 5.0 Lollipop Devices, but they made it available within a few days of the release of the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Recently, the Android 5.1 Lollipop came into action, not all the devices are operating on the latest version, but many devices have received the Android 5.1 update or have begun supporting it because of the Custom ROM’s. When upgraded to the latest version i.e. Android 5.1 many users reported that the Xposed Framework and the modules didn’t work. Hence a developer named “romracer” came up with the Alpha Unofficial Xposed Framework for Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Some Known issues in Xposed Framework for Android 5.1 Lollipop
The developer came up with the Xposed Framework for Android 5.1 and announced about the Alpha Unofficial Xposed Framework on XDA (Follow this link to install it on Android 5.1 Lollipop Phone)
- Devices with very little free space on /system may have trouble installing. This installer has been tweaked slightly over the 5.0 installer. It will attempt to move your original libraries off /system, install the framework, compress the original libraries and then move the compressed originals back to the root of /system.
- If Xposed for Android 5.0 didn’t work on your device, its unlikely this one will either. This is more or less the exact same source code, just an updated ART runtime. But feel free to try, just make sure you know how to backup and restore.
