Samsung has been on fire lately! No puns intended. A large number of carrier locked Samsung smartphones have been getting the Android Nougat OS update. Earlier today we saw the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, as well as the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 5 get the Android Nougat OS Update. Now, the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge too get this update. Sprint has also released the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update for the Sprint HTC One M9.

While the HTC One M9 isn’t really a smartphone HTC would look back fondly at, the phone was still bought by millions of people. The 2015 HTC flagship is now getting an update. Users of the Sprint HTC One M9 are now being upgraded to the Android 7.0 Nougat OS! This update weighs in at 1.02 GB and also brings along the Android Security Patch for February 2017.

The Android Nougat OS Update for the Sprint HTC One M9 comes with the version number 4.27.651.4. The phone is a little over 2 years old now, and this is likely the last major update to roll out for the Sprint HTC One M9.

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Getting The Android Nougat OS Update

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge too, are getting this update as well. The users of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be getting this update with the version number G920PVPU4DQC7. For them, the update will weigh in at 1068 MB. For the users of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the update would come in at 1080 MB, and would feature the version number G925PVPU4DQC7. The update also brings in a number of security patches for the phones.

It is also worth noting that the update for both, the HTC as well as the Samsung smartphones will not start rolling out for all users at once, but will be gradually rolling out over the next few days.
