Samsung is all set to launch their second major flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this year. Samsung has been following the two-flagships-a-year model for a long time. Their first flagship smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S8 which came out a couple of months ago. It is expected that the upcoming Note 8 would be launched by the company in September. While not much is known about the phone, a concept sketch leaked today, detailing the exteriors of the device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature a display designed similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Note 8 would feature the infinity display with very thin bezels. However what really surprises us about this sketch is that it showcases the phone with a home button on the front. While Samsung got rid of the button on the Samsung Galaxy S8, it is unlikely that they would bring it back for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come only in a curved/edged screen variant, and no flat-screened variant would be made available. The SIM tray has been moved to the top of the device this time. On the thin bezel on the top, we see a front facing camera, along with a number of sensors. The bottom of the device features a USB Type-C Port, a 3.5 mm jack, as well as the S Pen Dock. Vertical dual cameras can be seen on the back.

The phone is speculated to be made of metal and glass. Samsung’s latest flagship device would run on the Snapdragon 835 processor. However, an exynos variant too, would come out. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. The phone would come with support for Samsung’s newly introduced assistant, Bixby. It is expected to come out into the markets with a 6.3 inched display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage variants.
