Motorola’s gen-next smartphone in the Moto e series, the Moto E4 has been spotted in various leaks over the past few months. In a latest leak, the phone’s launch date for Canada, as well as its specifications have been spotted by Roland Quandt on Twitter. The current plans for the launch of the device, as per Quandt, is that of 17th of July. The phone will be priced in at CAD$ 249.99 (USD $185.69). Let us take a detailed look at the phone and what it has to offer:
Motorola Moto E4 Specifications
Motorola’s gen-next Moto E device is all set to come out into the markets with basic specifications, as has been the case with all Moto E devices in the past. The phone would feature a 5 inched HD display. Moto E4 would feature a resolution of 720 x 1280 and would be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. An 8MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera would be a part of this device.
The phone is all set to feature 2GB of RAM, and it would also feature a 64GB storage space (rather surprising). A quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC clocked at 1.25 GHz will power the device. The phone is said to run on a removable, 2800mAh battery. Motorola is also expected to launch a Plus sized variant of the phone with a larger display and a much larger, 4000mAh battery. Both the variants would run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
Moto E used to be the cheapest Moto smartphones in the past. However, this year, the newly introduced Moto C smartphones have taken that spot, offering just the bare minimums. Motorola plans to launch the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus, as well as Moto X 2017, Moto Z2, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force, and the Moto G5s and G5s Plus smartphones this year.
