So today, I’ll guide you with the steps to manually install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop in your Moto E.

Well, since Motorola has officially released updates for many Moto E devices, it is for sure that the other devices would also get the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OTA update, However, the time is not known, you may get it today, so if you are not having much patience, you can begin with the steps listed below.

Note Installing this firmware won’t require access to root, nor it would void your warranty, since this is an official firmware there is no harm your device may face.

To install the firmware we need the firmware, hence download the “Android 5.0.2 Lollipop official firmware for the Moto E” and then rename it to ““. download it and store it to the root directory of your Moto E’s external storage.
