The Motorola Moto E 2nd gen would cost Rs 6,999 in India, however, the international version made by different carriers would come in 2 different variants i.e 3G variant and 4G variant, and the price would be different depending on carrier to carrier. But the price won’t increase a single penny more than $150.

What type of SIM card would Moto E 2nd Gen support?

The Moto E 2nd Gen supports Dual SIM support in some countries, Both the SIM slots would support Micro Sim cards. Trying to insert Nano SIM card in the slots might cause damages to the Phone or in some cases the SIM card might get stuck into the SIM card slot itself. So before inserting the SIM card into the Moto E 2nd gen it is recommended to get a Micro SIM card.

How to Insert SIM card in the Moto E 2nd Gen?

Inserting a SIM card is very easy, but in some cases it can be worse, To insert a SIM card into the Moto E 2nd Gen you will have to remove the Band at the sides which covers the SIM card and the SD card slot. Don’t try removing the Band with any tools, it might cause damage to the band, so remove the band from the sides at an ease and insert the micro sim cards into the respective slots and once you are done with inserting the SIM card attach the band again. To remove the sim cards just press the SIM card or SD card and you will get them out of the Phone.

Can I root the Moto E 2nd Gen?

Well, Yes! Every Android Phone has a SuperUser in it and its easy to access the SuperUser (Process of Rooting). Thus, you can root the Moto E 2nd Gen, However, it’s not recommended to root the Moto E 2nd gen at the initial stages (unless your a developer) as the Phone is new and would get Android updates officially and rooting might void the warranty.

How to update Moto E 2nd Gen to the latest Android version?

Well, Android updates are another reason why people buy Phones, Motorola is good at providing Android updates to their Smartphones, in case you buy a Moto E 2nd Gen and a new Android version is released and Motorola releases an upgrade for the devices then you can update your Moto E 2nd Gen by going to Settings -> About Device and click on update and check for manual updates, in case there are any updates available then your Phone would get the steps to update your device.
