The Motorola Smartphones have always rocked the Indian Smartphone market starting from the Moto G First Gen, Followed by the Moto X, Moto G Second Gen, Moto X Second Gen and now enters a new guest – The Moto E Second Gen. The year 2014 is at the verge and it seems that Motorola would launch the 2nd Gen Moto E in the beginning of 2015 (the date is not known yet it may also be at the end of the 2014). So lets head towards the specifications of the 2nd Gen Moto E which is based on rumors so that we can know more about the coming guest.

Moto E 2nd Gen Specs 2015

Before beginning with the specifications of the 2nd Gen Moto E, I would say that the specifications are based on rumors, The sole decision of the specs lies in the hands of Motorola Mobility.

Operating System

The 2nd Gen Moto E would operate on the latest Android Operating system, according to Droidmen the phone would be launched in the beginning of 2015 so it can be said that the Moto E would come with Android Lollipop installed in it. But in case Motorola is not ready with the Lollipop OS for their Phones then it may come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat also.

Display

The 2nd Gen Moto E would come with a display of size 4.8-inch Capacitive Touch screen of screen resolution 540 x 960 pixels. Well, it would be great if Motorola increases the screen resolution of the Display. According to the sources the Moto E Second gen would have the same screen resolution like that of the Moto E First gen.

Processor & RAM

Motorola makes the best possible use of the available resources the Moto E 1st Gen came with the 1.2 GHz Dual core processor, the second gen Moto E would come with an upgraded processor i.e : Snapdragon 400 or 410 processor which would be clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The 1st Gen Moto E came with 1 GB RAM and the Second Gen Moto E would also come with the same amount of RAM Storage. But since Motorola doesn’t fill its Phones from much Bloatware so a user can easily use the Phone without the Phone getting hanged or slow working even on 1 GB RAM.

Internal Storage

One common issue that I’ve heard from many people using the Motorola Moto E First Gen is they are unable to store much of the apps they want because of less Internal storage device. There are no rumors for the storage, but according to us Motorola would upgrade the storage to 8/16 GB which would make the phone very convenient for a user interested in playing high-end games like Asphalt 8 etc. But in case the storage limit is not upgraded to 8/16 GB then you can root the Moto E Second Gen and install the game and play it!

Camera

The Moto E Second Generation would come with the same camera quality as its older version i.e it would encompass a 5 MP Rear camera which would be able to capture Images at the resolution 2592 x 1944 pixels. If you are someone expecting very good quality images then please don’t expect very good quality images from a 5 MP Camera.

Price & Availability

The price of the 2nd Gen Moto E is not known yet, but according to Droidmen the price would not exceed the price tag of 7000 INR. It can also be launched at the price of the Moto E 1st Gen causing a Fall in the price of the 1st Gen Moto E. We will update the post as soon as we come to know more about the price of the Moto E Second Gen.

The Motorola Phones like always would be available on Flipkart for the purchase like it happened for the Moto G and the other phones. There are no chances of getting a Moto E Second gen phone from a Local Retail Store. An Indian can buy the Moto E Second Gen only from Flipkart.
