Huawei has officially announced the Nova 4 smartphone with a 48MP rear-camera and 28MP in-display selfie camera. This is similar to what Samsung announced last week, the Galaxy A8s. While both smartphones has a hole cut-out to accommodate the cameral, it’s quiet noticeable that the Nova 4 has a smaller hole than the Galaxy A8s.
As mentioned, the Nova 4 sports a 48MP main camera composed of a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle shooter and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The selfie camera on the other hand is a 28MP f/2.4 shooter.
Under the hood, the Nova 4 is loaded with Kirin 970 processor which is an older version of the processor of the previously announced Honor View 20. Other specs of the Nova 4 include a 6.4-inch 2310 x 1080 display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3,750 mAh battery capable of fast charging over USB-C.
The Huawei Nova 4 will be available for around $490 when it comes out in China. A lower version with 20MP camera will be available for around $450. No words yet on when the Huawei Nova 4 will make it to international market.
