HTC has been among the biggest names when it comes to the world of smartphone technology. The company has been powering a large number of Android smartphones and was among the first OEMs to adapt the Android OS. They have been working on their U series of smartphones. Their next smartphone, the HTC U11 Life, has now been spotted in a leaked image which gives a quick insight into the device.
The HTC U11 Life, which is currently being developed under the code name HTC Ocean Life, will not be a flagship-grade smartphone. However the phone would come with many features that were the part of the U11, such as the squeezable frame. HTC is working on bringing their squeezable ‘edge sense’ technology to more and more devices and the HTC U11 Life seems like a good start. Word has it that the upcoming Google Pixel 2 might feature the squeezable frame as well.
From the front, the HTC U11 Life looks quite similar to the likes of the HTC U11 and the HTC 10 that have come out over this year and the last. The phone is expected to release with a 5.2 inched full-HD display, along with a fingerprint scanner on the bottom. The HTC U11 Life also features a front facing camera on the top, which is expected to be a wide-angle camera. The camera on the front as well as the one on the back are both expected to be of 16 Megapixels.
Reports also indicate that the HTC U11 Life will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 mobile platform. The phone is expected to come out with a 32GB storage space which is expandable up to 2TB. Details on the RAM have not been leaked as of now but we expect it to be either 3GB or 4GB. The phone is IP67 waterproof and it is not expected to feature a 3.5mm jack.
