HTC has been one of the most popular names when it comes to the world of smartphone technology. The company has brought forward a large number of changes over the years, and they have been pioneers in designing. HTC is all set to release the HTC Ocean smartphone in the months to follow, and the phone has been spotted in yet another leaked image. Let us take a detailed look at what the phone looks like and what it is expected to offer to the users.
The first thing which is clearly noticeable about this device is the fact that the HTC Ocean, which was expected to come out without buttons on the side, does indeed feature them. The phone was highly touted to be a device which would introduce an all new ocean-edge technology, where swiping around the edges would result in actions being taken. However, the leaked renders of the device do show it with the volume rockers and the power button.
The phone features a home button in the front, which is expected to double up as fingerprint scanner. The front of the device features a grill for audio on the top, as well as a front camera. The phone features very slim bezels and a large screen. The HTC Ocean renders also showcase a camera in the back, along with flash.
What is also quite interesting about the HTC Ocean is that it comes with a glass finish on the back. Current speculations indicate that the phone will be running the Android 7.1 Nougat OS upon release, and would be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. The phone is expected to release with either 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The HTC Ocean is expected to be announced over the next week or two, and will be out in the markets by May.
