Let us take a look at the specifications of the phone:
Honor 8 Pro Specifications and Features
The Honor 8 Pro comes out into the markets with a 5.7 inched QHD Displa, which offers a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS with the EMUI 5.1 on top. What makes the phone really powerful is the processor and RAM combination. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Talking of the 6GB RAM, does anyone remember the time Huawei COO called it ‘psychological comfort’? While it features 6GB RAM, the phone also features a massive storage space – that of 128GB. This 128GB storage is only available in the Indian markets, as all the other regions have a 64GB storage. It can also be expanded with the help of a Micro SD card. The phone offers a hybrid dual-SIM storage, which means users can either keep two SIM cards or one SIM card and one SD card in the SIM Tray.
Another major element of the Honor 8 Pro is that of the dual cameras that it comes with. It comes with two 12MP+12MP cameras, where one of them features an RGB sensor while the other one features a monochrome sensor, giving the photographs as ‘real’ a color as possible. It features an LED flash as well as support for 4K recordings. In addition to these two 12 MP cameras on the back, the phone also features an 8MP front facing camera. This front camera comes with a 77 degree wide angled lens.
The Honor 8 Pro offers 4G VoLTE connectivity, which ensures that Reliance Jio users would be able to make good use of it. It features a USB Type-C port on the bottom, and comes with NFC as well. In addition to all this, the phone comes with a powerful 4,000mAh battery that can power it for 1.4 days of ‘heavy usage’, and 2 days of ‘regular usage’, as per Honor.
