Batteries have always been an issue. The manufacturers put a handful of features, yet don’t upgrade the battery. That has caused a lot of trouble as it doesn’t give us the freedom to play with the features in order to save battery and run after charging the phone sooner or later.
A Florida based smartphone manufacturer named BLU, who is known for the array of budget phone they produced. The phones have been named Studio Energy 2 and Energy X, Amazon exclusive.
BLU Studio Energy 2
The phone BLU Studio Energy 2 is second in line after Studio Energy smartphone. The LTE phone come with the 5,000 mAh battery on board. It sports a 5-inch 720 p super AMOLED display. With a 16GB internal storage, it has an additional 64 GB external storage. It has a 64 bit MediaTek 6735 processor clocking at a speed of 1.3 GHz, Mali-T720 GPU and 1.5 GB RAM on board.
It runs on Android 5.0 out-of-the-box. It has the 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The phone supports dual SIM and is as thin as 10.1 mm. The BLU Studio Energy 2 is available in Midnight Grey and Ceramic White with Rose Gold at only $179 which sums up to ~Rs. 11,634.11 only in Indian currency.
BLU Energy X
The BLU Energy X is the other phone launched besides BLU Studio Energy 2 and is priced at a cheaper price of $109 which sums up to ~Rs. 7084.86 only in Indian currency.
BLU Energy X sports a 5-inch 720 p IPC LCD display. This device also supports 2 micro SIM’s and has a thickness of only 8.9 mm. Other tech end features are quad-core MediaTek 6580 processor ticking at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Mali-400 GPU, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 8 GB internal storage and 64 GB external storage. BLU Energy X also runs on Android 5.0 out-of-the-box.
The phone’s battery is less as compared to BLU Studio Energy 2. It has 4,000 mAh battery on-board, but this capacity is pretty big as compared to other smartphones at similar price in the market. Pretty cool it seems? Not too good, nor bad. Pour in your thoughts below.
