Zenfone Max 2016’s Display and Battery Life
The ASUS Zenfone Max comes out into the markets with a very impressive 5.5-inch display. The Zenfone Max 2016 offers a resolution of up to 720p and offers an HD display with the pixel density of a 267ppi on an IPS LCD panel.
The Screen of the Zenfone Max is protected by a Gorilla Glass 4 layer. The display is bright, but we noticed that the device falters is, despite the impressive brightness, it might not be as clear in the bright light of the sun. The contrast ratio that the device offers is quite good.
The battery life of the device is one of its key highlights, as the ASUS Zenfone Max comes out into the markets with a 5000mAh battery. The battery that the device offers is a lithium-polymer one, and it is a non-removable battery. The battery life of the ASUS Zenfone max is impressive in ways more than one – it can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices!
The Zenfone Max 2016 can be used to charge other devices, The reverse charging can charge other devices in two ways, one way doesn’t require you to turn off your Zenfone Max, but the other way requires you to turn off your Zenfone Max. The first way isn’t quick, but the second way is quicker than the first method.
ASUS Zenfone Max 2016 User Interface and Specs
ASUS, with the Zenfone Max, has released yet another device running on their Zenfone UI, The Asus Zenfone Max 2016 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has own. The ZenUI offers some really cool features such as the ‘double tap to wake’ feature, which is also a part of the Windows Phone devices.
I’m not a fan of ZenUI, but the ZenUI is customizable, you can check the grid size of the app drawer, you can change the way in the apps are organized. In case you have some apps to be hidden, the ZenUI also allows you to hide the apps. The App drawer also allows you to smart group the apps according to their category. This is what makes ZenUI a user-friendly UI.
The ASUS Zenfone Max is an impressive device, but things take one step forward once you look at the specifications of the device, The previous variant of the Zenfone Max 2016 came with Snapdragon 410 which wasn’t so good, but this version comes with Snapdragon 615 which is more powerful which again has 2GB/3GB RAM.
Asus Zenfone Max 2016 Camera Quality
The camera of the ASUS Zenfone Max has been just like the device. The phone comes out into the markets with a 13MP laser autofocus camera. The device features a f/2.0 lens and a dual-LED which comes with Dual-toned flash. The camera app is easy to use, but if you are someone who has never used the Zenfone’s Camera app, then finding things might be tough, but as you start using, you’ll get to know more about the UI.
The image quality is quite good, and while it might not be as good as the camera-oriented ASUS Laser devices, but is quite good. There is some noise in the images at times, but for those who want to use it for casual, day-to-day photographs, this is an excellent device, Here’s an other sample of an image took in open place where there was ample light.
The Asus Zenfone Max 2016 is an impressive budget smartphone, Besides the huge battery being its power feature, Its ability to charge other devices doubles the love for the device. These were our First impressions about the Zenfone Max 2016, We will soon be up with an in-depth review of the Zenfone Max 2016 in which we will be telling you whether the device is worth the price you pay or not, For the time being if you are looking for a device which is under the price tag of Rs. 10,000, then selecting the Zenfone Max 2016 would be a great decision.
