The Taiwanese handset manufacturer, Asus has expanded its ZenFone series by adding, a 3G enabled smartphone ZenFone Go to its basket. The company today, introduced ZenFone Go in India priced at Rs 7,999 on Flipkart. The Smartphone is also available via Asus exclusive retail outlets.
ZenFone Go is a dual-Sim smartphone features a 5 inch display with a 1280x 720 HD resolution. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based ZenUI, having 294ppi pixel density. ZenFone Go boast a quad-core MediaTek processor powered by 1.3GHz bundled with 2GB RAM.
Speaking on the occasion, Peter Chang, Regional Head – South Asia & Country Manager – System Business Group – ASUS India, said, “We are excited to announce the availability of ZenFone Go for our Indian users. Being the third largest home to Smartphone users, India is a critical market for us and we intend to bring cutting edge products to consumers here, who seek power packed design sensibilities of a high-end Smartphone at competitive prices.”
The device includes 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The device bundles up a 2070mAh battery. The handset sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture along with a 2MP front facing camera. The device provides connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
The new currently, the handset will be available in three color variant namely, Black, White, and Red colour.
